FOR FRICTION, PULLEY LAGGING

For friction between the elevator belt and the driving pulley, proper pulley lagging is critical. Lagging keeps the elevator belt from slipping and cuts down on wear. Muller Beltex provides a variety of options.

PULLEY LAGGING:

The surface of the drive pulley is welded with a pulley lagging that is easy to replace, such as Slide-Lag, or rubber with a diamond profile is vulcanised to the surface. The rubber variant is also available in white or blue and is of food-grade quality. We use METALLAG steel segments with a ceramic or sintered nickel plating when a rubber pulley lagging isn’t enough, such as at very high temperatures.

ELEVATOR BELT FOR EVERY INDUSTRY:

The elevator belt is at the heart of optimal and safe bulk processing: the elevator belt is the key to us. The belt is the heart of the machine, and it is subjected to varying loads when it is running. When it comes to avoiding costly downtime and achieving optimal production results, selecting a high-quality elevator belt is critical. Polysur® elevator belts, which are reinforced with specially woven polyester/polyamide plies (EP) or steel fabric reinforcements and can be supplied with bolt holes for elevator buckets, are designed specifically for use in elevators.

Our wide product line, which includes supplemental components, provides a high-quality package that reduces wear and maintenance.

ELEVATOR BELT FASTENERS:

Because the connection is the weakest link in an elevator belt, special care should be paid to belt fasteners. The best approach to make elevator belts unending is to use mechanical belt fasteners. They are more reliable than overlapping the belt because they prevent wear and tear.

ELEVATOR BUCKETS FOR EACH RAW MATERIAL:

We also offer welded (to DIN standards) or plastic buckets for minerals and other difficult applications, with centrifugal or gravity discharge. The well-known European types (Columbus, Starco, and Super Starco) are also available in pressed steel, stainless steel, HDP, polyurethane, or nylon.

Muller Beltex has been the European distributor of Maxi-Lift® plastic elevator buckets for over 25 years. These buckets are highly cost-effective for high capacities and abrasive bulk materials. All variants are abrasion-resistant and made of HDPE, wear-resistant and non-adherent polyurethane, or Zytel heat-resistant nylon.

DRIVE AND RETURN PULLEYS :

Elevator drive and return pulleys are designed specifically for the elevator belt and the type of product being processed. Our engineers handle the full process, from drawings to implementation, for everything from drive pulleys to cage pulleys to wing pulleys.

ELEVATOR BOLT :

Specially developed fastening hardware is used to secure elevator buckets. These elevator bolts come with a concave washer and nut as standard, or a flat washer and/or locknut as an alternative.
